Terms of Service

1. Who we are

The Appledot Affiliate Hub (the “Platform”) is operated by Appledot Studio (“Appledot”, “we”, “us”), based in Malaysia. The Platform connects TikTok content creators with sellers and brands to run affiliate marketing campaigns, manage product samples, and track content performance. By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Platform. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. How the Platform works

Creators can discover campaigns, request product samples, and connect their TikTok account to display their profile and content within the Platform. Sellers can list products, run campaigns, and review the performance of creator content. Appledot may facilitate commission tracking and reporting between the parties. Appledot is a facilitation platform and is not a party to the commercial agreement between a creator and a seller unless expressly stated.

4. Connecting your TikTok account

Connecting your TikTok account is optional and done through TikTok’s official Login. When you connect, you authorise Appledot to access certain information from your TikTok account on a read-only basis, as described in our Privacy Policy. We never post, edit, or delete content on your TikTok account. You may disconnect your TikTok account at any time from your Platform settings, which revokes our future access. Your use of TikTok remains subject to TikTok’s own Terms of Service.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading purpose;
• misrepresent your identity, audience, or content performance;
• upload content that infringes the rights of others or violates TikTok’s policies;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, other accounts, or its data;
• interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform.

6. Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you create. You grant Appledot a limited licence to display information you connect or submit (such as your TikTok profile and public videos) within the Platform for the purpose of operating the service. All Platform software, design, and branding remain the property of Appledot.

7. Commissions and payments

Where the Platform records commissions or campaign rewards, the amounts and conditions are determined by the relevant seller or campaign terms. Appledot provides reporting tools and is not responsible for the underlying commercial settlement unless expressly agreed in writing.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Platform in a way that risks harm to other users, Appledot, or third parties such as TikTok. You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Appledot is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Platform.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
